Virginia Tech Baseball Prepares For The ACC Tournament

Virginia Tech's men's baseball team is on the verge of potentially making the NCAA Regionals in baseball. Coming off of a sweep by North Carolina, the Hammerin' Hokies will take on Georgia Tech in the opening round of the ACC Tournament.

Virginia Tech is coming into the tournament as the number six seed while Georgia Tech is coming in as the number three seed.

The Hokies are counting on the solid pitching of Ben Rowen and the big bats of Buddy Sosnoskie and Austin Wates to keep their post-season hopes alive.

Virginia Tech is entering the ACC Tournament with an overall record of 36-19 with an ACC record of 16-14.

The Hokies will play the first game this Thursday at 8 p.m. in Greensboro, N.C.
